Forum Rules
Every board on Averytin runs on these rules. They exist so beginners can ask safely, veterans can share openly, and nobody has to wade through spam to find signal. Read them once before your first post — it takes two minutes.
1. Be civil — argue ideas, not people
- Treat every member with respect, even when you strongly disagree.
- Personal attacks, insults, harassment, or hate speech will be removed and can earn you a ban.
- Critique trades, analyses, and arguments — never the person behind them.
2. Post in the right board, stay on topic
- Choose the board that best matches your topic before posting.
- Keep replies relevant to the thread. Derailing conversations may be split or removed.
- Use descriptive titles — "Help!!!" makes the board worse for everyone.
3. No spam, no unsolicited promotion
- Do not post referral links, pyramid schemes, or repeated self-promotion.
- You may share your own work when it genuinely contributes to a discussion — not drive-by advertising.
- Signal-selling and account-management solicitations belong only in boards explicitly designated for them.
4. Nothing here is financial advice
- This is a learning community, not an advisory service. Posts do not constitute investment advice.
- Never present trade calls as guaranteed. Share reasoning, risk, and context instead of hype.
- Always do your own research before acting on anything you read here.
5. Respect privacy — yours and others
- No doxxing: real names, phone numbers, addresses, or account details of others.
- Do not share screenshots containing private information without consent.
- Protect your own credentials — moderators will never ask for them.
6. One honest account per member
- Impersonating staff, members, or public figures is grounds for immediate removal.
- Ban evasion with alternate accounts extends the ban to every account found.
- Keep your profile accurate — verification badges exist for a reason.
7. Let moderators moderate
- Moderators may move, merge, edit, or remove posts that break these rules.
- If a post bothers you, use the report action rather than fighting it out in the thread.
- Moderation questions go to the moderators privately — not into public pile-ons.
8. Contribute, don't just consume
- The best boards are built by members who answer beginners patiently.
- Share your charts, your reasoning, and your mistakes — they teach more than wins.
- Welcome newcomers; everyone started knowing nothing.
Rules are enforced with judgment, not robots. Honest newcomers who slip up get a warning; bad-faith actors get shown the door. If something looks like a rule violation, report it and let the moderators handle the rest.
